OMGosh!! This is a 4-kleenex post. Parenting, good parenting is the hardest, most fulfilling of all mortal tasks. Love IS the the answer. Thank you for pointing me in this direction today. Promotes an attitude of gratitude.
Wow. What a reminder to love them now, live in the moment, enjoy them, not plan and plan and plan so that you never see them today. After all, any of them could be gone tomorrow. Any of us could be.
Thank you for sharing this. What a great way to gain perspective. I truly feel for her. And she is such a great writer. I am sure this experience is bringing out something extra in her talent for sure.
What a hard trial to go through-I really can't imagine that pain. My heart breaks for parents who are losing/have lost a child (my older sister, Michele, died when I was 9 mos old-so this has been a part of my life-seeing how intensely it affects parents and a family). It makes me just so incredibly grateful for my healthy, happy, feisty little girl and all the joy she brings.

That's enough to make me [almost] thankful I don't have kids. Poor thing. What a countdown to have to wait for.
