Check out more of these here.  It's perfection.

I'm not gonna lie - today did not have a lot of win. Actually, we went to a turkey bingo thing at the library and lost, kind of. The things we used to cover the bingo cards were candy corns, and every time we lost, the kids ate them until we were playing with candy stumps.

But then there was the rest of the day... sometimes I am able to see the army of therapists and doctors that keep my kids going as a good thing. Sometimes.

Also, it snowed. Blarg.

I am very sorry about the snow. It sucks. It really, really does.
Since they got to eat the candy corn, I would call bingo a win.
Otherwise, it will be better tomorrow.
We love you!

My 2yo is doing a sneaky butter thing right now! And the single bite thing, only the food gets hidden and I find it later. Apple with one bite in the washer, crusty old sandwich on a shelf in the pantry, etc. Argh. I used to think parents were crazy for bowing to picky eating. But then my older kids were on this kick of pancake or muffin formed things only. And crackers. I figured they'd eat if they got hungry enough and I wouldn't give in. Then they started losing weight and they broke me. We had muffin shaped meatloaves, every kind of pancake there is, and eventually made it to the other side. It was nuts for awhile though!

You should come up and play in the snow with us! I still need boots and gloves, so by "play in the snow" I mean come hang out at my house and drink hot chocolate and watch it snow outside while the kids go crazy inside. ;)

My kid puts the food in her mouth, sucks out the juice/cheeto powder (mother of the year, yeah) and then spits it out. But she loves avocado, which is the number one thing that makes me feel like a competent mother.

HEAR YE. I need to document the fact that I ran 3 miles and didn't feel like death.  So just to make sure it wasn't a fluke, I did...
